You are the expert of your life, not
me. You know better than anybody else what your issues are, not me.
I will listen to you and interweave
(only when necessary) elements of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Solution-Focused
Therapy, Hypnotherapy and Parts Therapy for instance to help you change your
thoughts and behaviour.
Right, so, with this in mind, I will
listen carefully to your issues and discuss ways with you of coping with your
problems which can include cases of low self-esteem, lack of of confidence,
loss/bereavement, relationship issues and anger for instance.
We are going to work together, pretty
much like a team, so I can help you find the right solution for you, rather
than I, telling you what to do.
You may need 3, 4, 5 or 6 sessions of
50 minutes each however, if the problem has not been resolved by the end of
the last session, I will give you the choice to continue the treatment with
another counsellor as well as provide extra support such as advisory services/organisations
directly related to your problem(s). You are not on your own!
